BIO
After having studied Humanistic studies, theater& hat-making, Ruchama Hoed Graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London with a degree of distinction in Textiles Visual Arts.
Her fascination for weaving took thread when she fell in love with a tapestry in the Hermitage Museum. Since then she is continuously following her *‘Golden Thread’ by creating her art and studying with various master-weavers and elders in Italy, the Netherlands, Germany & UK.
She has developed her own weaving technique and continues to study and deepen her personal philosophy of weaving as a metaphor for life as to share her discoveries with others.
With an atelier in the hills Lucca and a showroom in the heart of Amsterdam
she enjoys connecting cultures, people, ideas and inspiration.
